PokerSnap is a web application that provides:

  • AI-powered playing card identification from user-submitted photographs
  • Poker odds calculation using Monte Carlo simulation
  • Statistical analysis of Texas Hold'em poker hands

The Service is provided for entertainment and educational purposes only.

The odds and probabilities displayed by PokerSnap are:

  • Statistical approximations based on Monte Carlo simulation

  • Not intended to be used as a basis for any wagering or gambling decisions
  • Not a guarantee of any outcome in any poker game

We are not responsible for any losses, financial or otherwise, that may arise from use of this Service. Poker involves real money risk. Please gamble responsibly and only where it is legal in your jurisdiction.

4. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

The AI card recognition feature uses machine learning models that may produce inaccurate results. We do not guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy of card identification from photographs
  • Correct recognition under poor lighting, angle, or image quality
  • Uninterrupted availability of AI recognition services

Always verify the identified cards before relying on any odds calculations. You can manually correct any misidentified cards within the app.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use PokerSnap to:

  • Cheat in any poker game, tournament, or casino environment where use of external assistance devices or software is prohibited
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our Service
  • Upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure

It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of PokerSnap complies with the rules of any poker game or venue you participate in.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PokerSnap and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

By submitting photos to our Service, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process your images solely for the purpose of providing card recognition. You retain full ownership of your photos. Photos are deleted immediately after processing.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit any content you upload and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

8. Advertising

PokerSnap is supported by Google AdSense advertisements. By using our Service, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL POKERSNAP, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated odds and card identifications
  • Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
  • Any gambling or wagering decisions made based on information from the Service

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
